HOW TO ENROLL

2026-2027
Please be aware that the Dillon Center enrolls on a first-come, first-served basis, and so the date and time stamp on an application is very important.

Each family must apply to the Dillon Center in order to attend an Open House, both of which are requirements for enrollment. The 90 minute virtual visit will be on Zoom and will include an introduction to Dillon’s philosophy and mission, a question and answer session, and a tour of the building.

Note: If a family is interested in a 4410 Special Classroom in an Integrated Setting (SCIS) spot (paid for by the NYC Public School for students with special needs), do not apply through TADS. Call 718.940.5693 instead to speak to the Special Education Coordinator about the intake process for the SCIS classroom.

Enroll through TADS

Please note that final determination in classroom placement will be made a month prior to the start of the new school year.

If your child is not going to be two years old by mid-September, do not apply if his/her birthday is in November or December. Children cannot start school until they are two years old, and we feel families of children who are this young should wait until the following school year to apply.

***Dillon is first-come, first-served, so applying early makes it more likely that a family will be invited to enroll.***

The Dillon Child Study Center complies with enrollment guidelines of all of the independent private schools in Brooklyn. Enrollment takes place in February on a first-come, first-served basis.
